Jay Boland
(Kodaline)

"I've tried multiple guitar-to-MIDI converters and found all of them unusable because of the latency. Jammy doesn't have the latency issue — thanks to its design, it knows the note you want to play before you even pick it.
Ivan Markovsky
(GAINSAY, No Liquor In Bushwick)

It's really awesome to be able to use a 'guitar mind' to create things that aren't guitar sounds. For someone who is a guitarist and interested in digital music production, it's the best thing out there.

FAQ
When will I get Jammy E?
Shipping of pre-orders made on Kickstarter already started, pre-orders from the website will be shipped February 2022. You can find the most recent manufacturing updates here.
What’s the latency?
Jammy E will have around 8-10ms of latency from the moment you pick a string to Jammy outputting the MIDI note. Of course, depending on the connection you’ll use (USB or Bluetooth), your computer specs, audio interface, and DAW, the overall latency may vary.
What outputs will Jammy E allow? USB? Bluetooth? Audio? 5-pin or TRS MIDI?
Jammy E is a MIDI controller, that’s why it won’t generate audio and will only send MIDI over USB and Bluetooth. We wanted to make it compact, and that’s why there was just not enough space to place a 5-pin MIDI output. However, you can connect it to your hardware synth using a powered USB MIDI host.
Does it handle pitch bend?
Sure, you can bend on Jammy E. Moreover, you can adjust the bend range in the companion app or VST plugin.
Can you use the legato techniques (hammer-ons, pull-offs, tapping) on it?
Yes, you can definitely use those techniques on Jammy E. Moreover, we’re working on a special mode that will make left-hand tapping more precise.
Will you have a bass?
We wish we had a bass version of Jammy E too, but for now, we’re focused on the guitar. By the way, you can play bass sounds on Jammy E via MIDI as well.
Can I use it with Android/IOS devices?
You can use Jammy E both with Android and iOS devices with virtual instrument apps or DAWs like FL studio mobile, BandLab, etc. for Android; and GarageBand, Cubasis, etc. for iOS.
Which DAWs does it work with?
Jammy E works with any DAW! You can choose one depending on your operating system and budget. There are some free options (GarageBand, Pro Tools First, Reaper, Bandlab) and some popular paid options (Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Pro Tools, FL Studio, Cubase, and others).
What is the action?
Since the string tension on Jammy E fretboard part is adjustable, you can set the action to your liking. By default, we decided to make it pretty low. Due to our research, that is the way most guitarists prefer it to be.
What happens when a string breaks?
If a string breaks, you can replace it with a new one. Additional string sets for E are available in our online store.
